Urgent work on Sorical’s Ipot Neto pipeline: From tomorrow Crotone will be without water

Corap (Regional Consortium for the development of Productive Activities) must carry out an urgent intervention on the supply pipe to Sorical’s Ipot Neto

Starting from tomorrow 17 April from 6.00 pm the supply of water to the city tanks will be suspended.

Following CORAP’s communication, the mayor convened the COC (Civil Protection Municipal Operations Center) this afternoon to address the water emergency.

CORAP plans to carry out the intervention, after emptying the pipeline, on the morning of Thursday 18 April and conclude it, barring unforeseen circumstances, on the same day.

In the meantime, the Reclamation Consortium has been asked to enhance the flow of water from the S. Anna supply.

Congesi will carry out all the necessary maneuvers in order to limit inconvenience in the city.

Following the above, the water service in the city will suffer interruptions from the night of April 17th and throughout the day of Thursday April 18th.

In this regard, an order will be issued to close schools of all levels on April 18th.

The Regional Civil Protection remains in support for any emergencies.

Further updates will follow regarding the progress of the works.
