During the night, unidentified people targeted, damaging and putting them out of use, the two Postamat machines located to the right of the entrance to the Poste Italiane branch building on the central Corso Mazzini in Catanzaro.
In particular, the vandals, one or more people, attacked the digital monitors of the two automatic machines of the withdrawal and payment circuit, using stones or cobblestones, preventing their use.
The many account holders and those who would have had to carry out operations or use the service from early morning who had suffered considerable inconvenience were the ones who realized what had happened, even before the offices were opened to the public. Investigations are underway regarding the serious episode of vandalism, which has been reported, with the aim of tracing the perpetrators of the vandalism raid.
