Cycling, Team Equa protagonist at the Italian Championships in Montesilvano

MONTESILVANO, 16 April 2024-SThe Rassegna Tricolore took place this weekend and saw 160 athletes from all over Italy at the start, including the Team Equa who fielded a formation made up of Giovanni Achenza, Lorenzo Bernard-Davide Plebani, Riccardo Cadei, Chiara Colombo-Elena Bissolati, Fabio Colombo-Manuele Cadeo, Andrea Casadei, Martino Pini and Andrea Tarlao.

The race route which also touched the Montesilvano seafront saw the athletes engaged in the road race on Saturday and in the time trial on Sunday.
Excellent performances by the entire Pavese Representative who proved to be very combative, thus concluding the event of the Tricolore Exhibition with an overall haul made up of 8 golds which are also worth the title of Italian Road Champion, 5 silvers and 2 bronzes.

Big regret for Riccardo Cadei who unfortunately suffered a fall during the final sprint in Saturday’s road test.

After the Rassegna Tricolore in Montesilvano some Athletes of Team Equa will be involved with the Paralympic National Team in the World Cup Trials in Ostende in Belgium from 2-5 May next.
