The conference “The Secretaries of Local Authorities facing the challenge of good governance and change” in Siena

We highlight the conference by its title “The Secretaries of Local Authorities face the challenge of good governance and change”, organized by HEAR (The Federation of European Union Local Authorities Chief Executive Officers) e UNSCP (National Union of Municipal and Provincial Secretaries) in collaboration with the Municipality of Siena.

The conference, which will be held at the Sala Italo Calvino, Palazzo Squarcialupi in Santa Maria della Scala – Piazza Duomo starting next April 19, represents a unique opportunity for local authorities to meet their colleagues at a European level.

The objectives of the initiative

Over 200 participants are expected from all over the country and abroad, in particular from Spain and France, to explore issues functional to the role of local authorities regarding the challenges and development that will accompany PAs in the near future.

The international event aims to shine a spotlight on the current situation, enhance opportunities and perspectives and facilitate dialogue and exchange between responsible members of local leadership in Europe.

Labor taxes

During the initiative, it will be presented a comparative study among public secretaries in the European panoramasharing experiences, with specific moments of training and in-depth analysis on the subject of good governance and the economic, social and environmental challenges that the leadership of local authorities will face.

The program is enriched by interventions by eminent academics and high-level professionals, with the contribution of the political leaders of the EU Committee of the Regions and the Council of Europe and with the support of Institutions, Associations, ANCI and Universities, primarily of Tuscany, but also Unibo and Bocconi.
