Poker of victories for Rari Nantes Legnano on the long weekend of April 25th

Even with reduced ranks, thanks to the long weekend, the boys from Rari Nantes Legnano took to the pool on April 28th giving their all, collecting four precious victories.

The first match was that of the Under 11s who, against Rho, they crowned their second success of the season at the end of a balanced and tiring match, given the small exchange rates available. Cortellazzi did the lion’s share with five goals and Menegazzi worked overtime and the group’s performance earned the final victory 8-6.

Legnano’s team started well with a 2-1, recovered by Rho with a 1-3, but RNL only achieved successes in the following rounds with a 2-1 and a 3-1. Cortellazzi’s five goals were decisive for the victory, which was then helped by the two from Mancieri and the goal from Piampiani, two other scorers.

The victory was also difficult (5-3) of the Under 15 B2, against Muggiò. Coach Andrea Bianchi underlined the performance of the defense, but the attacking shooting precision needs to be improved.

The first round was unpromising for the Legnano team with a 2-1 score for the opponents, and a stalemate in the second with a 0-0, then recovered with a 1-3 and finally with a 0-1. Ventura is the scorer who has scored the most goals, only two, while Yuksanovic, Caimi and Marzano have only earned 1 each.

It was easier for the other Under 15s, that of the B1 group led by Marco Borsa, who won 11-1 against Omegna Nuoto. Again, the performance was the defense, and only the tiredness at the end did not allow an even greater gap.

The Legnano team were unstoppable from the start, winning all the rounds: first 2-1, then 4-0, in the third round 3-0 and finally 2-0. Dipalo and Bodini scored three goals each, Dall’Omo and Germano two, while Zorzetto secured a single but acceptable goal.

Gojko Separovic, Sports Director of Rari Nantes Legnano, closed the day by celebrating, after the victory of his Under 11s, also the success of the Senior Over 22s. In Novi Ligure it was 12-0 against the Bollate Titans, with the three hat-tricks of Alessandrini, Genoni, Terraneo and the goals of Megale, Landini and Maimone, who scored one goal each.

Their opponents were given no quarter and did not score a single point, while the Legnano team started with one point in the first round, 3 in the second and third and finally five in the last round.

A poker of victories for the Legnano team which bodes well for the championship final.
