After the strong storms that occurred yesterday, May 15, for which a yellow weather alert had been published, in the province of Ravenna there were some flooding, which affected countryside, inhabited centers and industrial areas. There was no shortage of hail and strong winds.
Reports of flooding from Lugo, Bagnacavallo, Cotignola, Massa Lombarda, Bagnara di Romagna, Sant’Agata sul Santerno, Faenza, Russi and Ravenna.

Inside the town of Lugo the water made its way between Viale Bertacchi, reaching 15 centimeters in the homes, Via Amendola, Viale Europa. Yesterday, as a precaution, the underpasses of via Felisio and via Provinciale Cotignola, near the hospital, were closed. 15 minute flooding also in the Pavaglione area.
On the afternoon of May 15, the water also reached the basement of the Lugo hospital, where the generator came into operation. The water reached 10-15 cm in the basement on the side of the Old Hospital.
