We receive and publish – We had already had the opportunity to listen to and appreciate the pianist Rebecca Rita Ventrella on other occasions, but in the concert she held, Saturday 27 April, for the Beethoven Acam Society of Crotone as part of the 44to Concert Season “The Hera of Magna Graecia” literally amazed us.
Dense and full sound, stormy and full of contrasts with the flamboyant Russian atmospheres,
a great ability to highlight the intertwining of the ancestry of Haydin, Schumann, Prokofievall resolved with an objective structural tension and a sculptural pianism
Brilliance and technical mastery, elegance of sound, especially in the interpretation of
“Schumann’s Morning Songscalibrated phrasing that accompanies a skilful use of dynamics combined with a taste that never leads to mannerism.
A program, then, which contained three centuries of history, included the “Sonata hob zvi 50 in C major.”, Schumann – “op. 133 Morning Songs”, Prokofiev – “Sonata n.4 op.29 in C minor”, rich and full-bodied, literally thrilled the audience who underlined the entire performance with warm applause.
An encore dedicated to Schopenian music concluded a beautiful performance.
