‘It’s the most beautiful city in the world’

Through a post on his FB page, the mayor of Reggio Calabria Giuseppe Falcomatàpromotes events related to Labor Day on the banks of the Strait, spoiling artists and events.

“We are almost ready for Reggio Primo Maggio. On Wednesday, from the afternoon until late evening, the artists Orietta Berti, Maninni, Iva Zanicchi, Il Chile, Moreno, Carboidrati, Arma, Comete, Shark and Groove, Datura and many others will take turns on stage at the Arena dello Stretto. An entire day of live music, completely free and overlooking the Strait, in that fantastic setting that only our city can offer.

And that’s not all, because on May 1st the “1st Criterium Lungomare Falcomatà” cycling race will be held in the morning while on the PalaCalafioreThe national finals of the Regions Tournament will be staged throughout the day.

These days the city is full of tourists who appreciate the many beauties of our land. History, art, culture, landscape, good food and good wine. The events we are organizing, together with the associations, are a further attraction, which even people from Reggio will be able to experience with joy and carefreeness. I am convinced that we must be the first to appreciate and love our city, otherwise how will we please those who visit it? For me Reggio it is the most beautiful city in the world. Let’s live it, let’s respect it, let’s tell it as it deserves. We are lucky to be from Reggio!
