Tiziana Tarquini was unanimously elected provincial secretary of the FP Cgil Siena by the general assembly of the category.
Tarquini replaces Lucia Barbi, who resigned for personal reasons after almost 7 years at the helm of the first union in the public services sector, which has over 3,600 members in the Siena province.
The General Secretary of the CGIL of Siena Alice D’Ercole and the General Secretary of the CGIL Public Function of Tuscany Bruno Pacini also participated in the work.
In the programmatic report, the new Secretary outlined the political-union lines and the next appointments of the Category: the renewal of contracts in the public sectors and private healthcare and the electoral appointments for the renewal of RSUs, from environmental hygiene to public employment, where FP CGIL will have to confirm itself as the first trade union in the province of Siena. In the meantime, the Civil Service is an active part in the battles carried out by the CGIL, first of all the collection of signatures on the 4 referendums on safe, stable, dignified and protected work and the defense and application of the Constitution with the “La Via Maestra” campaign .
The new Secretariat of the Category was also unanimously elected: Cesare De Sanctis, Luca Franci, Cosimo Francini and Sonia Guerrini; Andrea Cano and Massimo Tanganelli complete the management team.
