The great summer of beach tennis is underway in Oristano

The great summer of Oristano beach tennis has begun. On Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June, the Eolo Beach Sports courts will host the Sardinian Third and Fourth Category Men’s and Women’s Doubles Championship. An Open tournament is also scheduled with the men’s, women’s and mixed doubles formulas. The final stages (with free entry) are scheduled for Sunday from 4.30pm.
The Sardinian youth championships (Under 18, 16 and 14) will start on Saturday 13 July, again for men’s, women’s and mixed doubles. The following day, with the same formula, it will be the turn of the Sardinian Over 40 Championships.
From Wednesday 31 July to Sunday 4 August, Torregrande will become the Italian capital of Beach Tennis with the Eolo Beach Contest Proxienergy which this year becomes a major national event, with the Italian Overall Championships in men’s, women’s and mixed singles and doubles.
From Monday 5th to Wednesday 7th August, it will be the turn of the Finals of the National Team Championship of Serie A and B.
Numerous promotional tournaments are planned, including at night.
«The awarding of the Absolute Championships is for us a very high level recognition from the Italian Tennis and Padel Federation, which comes in a phase of maturity achieved by the Association», proudly comments the president of Eolo Beach Sports Sebastiano Cau: « We have a very well structured and tested staff from the numerous events organized in the past which have contributed to strengthening our reliability; We present ourselves with all the necessary credentials to be able to host an event of this magnitude and it will be our precise commitment to guarantee a high quality level of service in order to bring prestige to our association, to the city of Oristano and to Sardinia”.
«A very important summer season has begun for our association», explains Eolo’s Beach Tennis manager Diego Fratini, «both from the point of view of organizing events and for the sporting results that we set out to achieve. We have planned a series of events of great regional and national importance and prestige and the aim, as always, is not to disappoint our expectations and those of all enthusiasts, trying to offer a show worthy of the value of the event. From a results point of view, it is a fundamental year, with our kids called to take a further step both at a regional and national level. From this point of view, we started very well with Daniele Olla’s victory in the Sardinian Absolute Singles Championship.”
