Terni: free ACLI assistance on occupational diseases

In the weeks in which safety in the workplace is discussed, the offices of the Acli patronage of Perugia and Terni open their doors to listen to workers who request assistance as they suffer from health problems caused by the work activity they are carrying out. doing or that they have done.

With these open days, the Acli patronage promotes an action to protect rights starting from listening in a reality, such as that of Umbria, characterized by an increase in occupational diseases detected in 2023, with an increase of more than 25 percent compared to the year previous.

“We have chosen to dedicate real open days to information and raising awareness on the protection of rights and their recognition to obtain the right compensation from Inail in cases of occupational disease at work – says the provincial president Flavia Chitarrini – because this it is a very sensitive issue for our patronage”.

“The promotion of greater awareness of the risks at work and of the obligations connected to safety at work, also through the implementation of the necessary and specific protections in case of occupational diseases, specifies the director of the Acli patronage office of Terni Amedeo Contili, is one of the objectives on which the Acli patronage will focus this year”.
