He took off In your place…, the experimental project conceived by Chamber of Commerce of Cosenza and promoted in collaboration With the’Agency for the Negotiative Representation of Public Administrations (Aran), which plans to exchange your role with that of a colleague, even from another PA, to rethink the way in which you estimate the commitment required by your role and the tasks assigned, through direct comparison.
The Chamber’s initiative aims to overcome the prejudices and stereotypes that can derive from the lack of direct knowledge about the activities carried out by colleagues and to transform the working environment of the public sector into a place of professional and personal growth, in which opinions several are appreciated and discussed openly.
Not a formal coaching, the one conceived by the Cosenza Chamber of Commerce, but an authentic exchange of roles in which the supported employee will encourage the guest to actively participate and propose innovative solutions to the problems connected to the role played.
The possibility of experimenting with the ways in which employees of other PAs carry out their role will also develop in the participants a new subjective vision of the commitment required by the role held and will allow them to rethink the ways in which they operate within their own institution. .
In this “exchange of roles” the Chamber also offers to host, in conditions of reciprocity, employees of other public bodies interested in participating in the project, taking advantage of a unique opportunity for professional growth, training and learning “on the job”, comparison and sharing of skills and competences between colleagues, all at zero cost.
An experiment which has the aim of creating a network of experiences, therefore, open to all Public Administrations interested in opening their doors to one or more Chamber of Commerce employees, or who intend to nominate their own employees to assist for one or more days colleagues holding a different role, even a different level of management, at the Chamber of Commerce.
