“On Monday and Tuesday, a large pocket of fresh air of Atlantic origin is expected to pass through our region, preceded by an insistent humid flow from the Mediterranean area; a certain instability follows, with clouds and various phases of precipitation more likely from Saturday afternoon to Monday morning, more significant clearings at least in the plains at the end of the period“: these are the forecast for the Venetocontained in the usual bulletin prepared by the experts Arpav.
Today variability, with temporarily even extensive clouds and clearing phases; precipitation generally absent, except for the most occasional modest phenomena in the Pre-Alps with possible snowflakes from 1800-2100 m; temperatures rising compared to Thursday; winds at altitude also strong from the south-west, in the valleys mostly weak with variable direction, on the plain generally from the eastern quadrants at times weak and at times moderate.
According to the weather bulletin from the Arpa Veneto experts, Tomorrow Mostly cloudy skies are expected, with some clearings more likely in the early hours and more compact clouds from the afternoon.
Precipitation: Absent in the first few hours and then gradually more likely, especially in the central-northern areas, from scattered to relatively widespread, with some showers and some possible thunderstorms especially in the plains; snowfall limit decreasing, approximately up to 1500-1800 m.
Temperatures: Increase in minimum temperatures, even noticeable in the mountains; for the maximums, limited local variations are expected, with a prevalence of increases in the north-east.
Winds: Strong to strong at altitude, from the south-western quadrants; in the valleys, weak with variable direction; in the plains, mainly moderated by the eastern quadrants, at times locally tense on the coast.
Sea: Rough, at various times even very rough offshore.
Sunday 31st mostly cloudy, with phases of compact clouds and temporary clearing.
Precipitation: Probable phenomena including showers or occasional thunderstorms, scattered and intermittent until the afternoon, more widespread in the evening at least in the central-northern areas; snowfall limit at 1300-1600 m.
Temperatures: In the mountain and foothill areas, an at most moderate decrease prevails; elsewhere, limited local variations.
Winds: At south-westerly altitude, strong in the first hours and then from tense to strong; in the valleys, mostly weak with variable direction; in the plains, mainly moderated by the eastern quadrants.
Sea: Rough, at various times even very rough offshore.
Monday 1st April in the mountains very cloudy skies but with some clearings from the end of the morning onwards starting from the west, in the plains the weather is generally variable with more extensive clouds in the first hours and even large clear spaces later on, especially in the south; at the beginning of the day rather widespread rainfall especially in the central-northern areas thinning out from the west, then probable scattered phenomena in the mountain areas and at most local elsewhere, with some showers or occasional thunderstorms and snowfall limit at 1500-1800 m; minimum temperatures falling especially in the north-east, sensitive at altitude; for maximum temperatures, limited local variations are expected.
Finally, according to the weather forecasts of the Arpa Veneto experts, Tuesday 2 April variability is expected, with significant clear spaces alternating with some cloudy accumulations; we cannot rule out some light precipitation at times from mid-day, with possible flakes from around 1700-2000 m; minimum temperatures slightly decreasing; regarding maximum temperatures, moderate increases in the pre-Alpine and foothill areas, limited local variations elsewhere.
