The investigations into L’Aquila’s murder have reached a turning point: the results of the autopsy leave no doubt about what happened a week ago.
A week has passed since the murder of Teodoro Ullasci and now we seem to have reached a turning point: the first results of the autopsy confirm the reconstruction made by the investigators. Naturally it takes three months before we have a definitive report from the medical tests, but now we have a clearer picture of what happened.
The causes of death, in fact, appear to be compatible with the trauma caused by the attack. In the coming weeks we will try to understand how the kicks and punches influenced the death. But the first results nevertheless represent a turning point in an investigation which, at least until today, has continued with several things to ascertain.
Points to clarify
Despite these autopsy results, the points to be clarified are still different. The investigations continue and investigators are working to ascertain the relationship between the victim and her killers. Initially it was thought that it was a beating due to a robbery, but with the passing of the days and the different testimonies we arrived at a completely different picture.
The three knew each other and had met for a drink that day. Now it remains to understand the reason that sparked the argument and, consequently, the motive for the fatal attack. For the moment the suspects have remained silent and this is not helping the investigators. In the next few days the two will be heard again by the magistrate and it is hoped that a turning point in the investigation will be reached.

Meanwhile, the two suspects remain in prison. The investigating judge, in fact, on Wednesday 27 March, confirmed the precautionary measure in the detention facility for those allegedly responsible for the murder of the 59-year-old. It is also expected in the next few days an evidentiary incident to crystallize the results arrived from the autopsy.
This is a fundamental step to have an even clearer picture of this matter. The dynamics of Teodoro’s death is taking ever greater shape even if there are still several points to ascertain.
