Excellent performances for the Amatori Nuoto Savona at the Gran Premio Esordienti A

Savona. The A rookie grand prix took place in Genoa on 20-21 April. All the best young Ligurians participated in the event, competing, divided by year, to reach the regional podium.

Marco Corsiglia (2012) recorded excellent times and climbed to the top step of the podium three times: in the 100 backstroke with a time of 1:11.73, in the 200 backstroke with a time of 2:37.87 and in the 200 freestyle with a time of 2:20.62. He concludes according to the 1500 style.

Excellent performances also for Greta Luzzo (2013) who entered the top eight in the 200 freestyle, 100 butterfly and 200 medley. Emma Abrate (2012) also enters the top 8 positions in the 200 backstroke.

Also taking part in the event were Mascia Sveva in the 100m and 200m breaststroke and in the 200m medley, Nicolò Altieri in the 200m freestyle and in the 100m and 200m backstroke, Lorenzo Arado in the 200m backstroke and Nicolò Lemasson in the 100m butterfly and 200m medley.

Amatori Nuoto Savona achieved an excellent sixth place in the medal table thanks to the three gold medals obtained by Marco Corsiglia.

The winter season in the 25 meter pool ends with this event and, consequently, the summer season in the 50 meter pool opens.
