Lots of people at the second edition of the «Settecalcio d’oro», hosted again this year by the Gherlinda di Ellera di Corciano. A true mass participation with footballers, coaches, managers and athletes who enthusiastically attended the assignment of the various awards decreed by the editorial staff of the Settecalcio.it portal making use of the votes carried out directly by the experts in the previous days.
“This year too it was challenging to organize this event – said our director Stefano Bagliani – but the passion still supports me, after 40 years of this hobby that has become a profession and 17 years of Settecalcio. It was satisfying to see so many people, so many sportspeople gathered together for an evening designed to celebrate amateur football. Special thanks to the director’s Gherlinda Eugenio Miccio and to the Advertising Range of Cesare Fontetroscianias well as the guests who attended, all deliberately from the amateur world, such as the president of the CRU Luigi Repacethe CRU advisor Roberto Damaschithe vice president of the national coaches association Pierluigi Vossi and the commentator of our video productions and now dean of the DS, Alvaro Arcipreti. A truly exciting evening masterfully conducted by Paola Costantini and Alberto Scattolini and deliberately, I underline it again, without the VIPs of professional football, because our VIPs are the protagonists who walk on our pitches on Sundays, the protagonists of the exploits that we then tell our readers about. We are all really happy to have brought so many fans to the Settecalcio d’Oro this year too! I then want to extend special thanks to the Umbria Regional Committee led by president Luigi Repace, who granted his patronage to our initiative, the only one we asked for, it was the most important one, we did not aspire to have a long and useless list. Another big THANK YOU goes to the BCC of Spello and Velino and to the Locanda del Cardinale, all decisive and crucial partners in the success of the event.»
