Towards the administrative bodies, candidatures and coalitions: the position of “FARE Massa Marittima”

Massa Marittima: The members of Fare Board of Directorsfollowing the meeting on 27 March between the political and associative forces that made up the alternative coalition to a centre-left listconsider themselves saddened by the outcome of the meeting which saw the rift between these emerge.

«The Board of Directors of Fare – we read in the note – in its entirety had hoped, in fact, that the candidate for Mayor should be an inclusive figure, accepted unanimously, and absolutely not be chosen by majority vote. Having taken note of this split, we hope for a recomposition of the political forces on a shared name and we suggest to our friend Sandro, for the good of the coalition, to withdraw his name. If he does not undertake this path, he absolutely cannot be the candidate of FARE.”

The Board then decided to withdraw from the table as it did not see the conditions for a unity of forces, evaluating thehypothesis of following a political path that sees him as the protagonist with his own symbol.

The association considers the press release of the political forces in support of Poli to be exploitation and forced.

FARE, however, always hopes for a recomposition of the political and associative forces with greater seriousness, wisdom and less personalism.
