note from the Morgoni mayor committee
POTENZA PICENA – Administering a territory does not mean sitting back and celebrating projects from above as miraculous, but rather dealing daily with all the issues in which the Council must have an impact, taking on a role of direction and direction.
A clear example of this is the Ecocittà issue, in which the total inaction of the administration in the last 5 years has produced a situation of worrying stalemate, with an area of vital importance for Porto Potenza which risks remaining bogged down for a long time and a reclamation of thousands of tons of excavation material waiting to be completed.
The issue was addressed in this morning’s meeting both from a political point of view, with the interventions of the mayoral candidate Mario Morgoni and the representatives of the three lists that support him (among others Stefano Dall’Aglio, Richard Dernowski, Primo Galassi, Stefano Mezzasoma, Valeria Meriggi), both from a technical-procedural point of view, with in-depth analyzes by engineers Simona Galiè and Tommaso Gaballo.
It has clearly emerged that without determined action and an active role from the next administration, the matter risks dragging on for years without achieving anything, to the detriment of both the residents (whose investment would be devalued) and all of Porto Potenza (which would be deprived of public areas and important connections with via Verdi and via De Gasperi).
These are the situations in which a determined, efficient and attentive administration can really make a difference.
It is our commitment, we have no shortage of skills and passion to do it.
