The trial of 3 defendants from Viterbo, accused of stealing her purse with the trick of coins in a car wash in Viale Fiume, came to life with the victim’s testimony. For this reason, the three defendants, defended by lawyers Luigi Mancini and Marco Valerio Mazzatosta, are specifically charged with the crime of theft with dexterity.

Yesterday in court the unfortunate woman, a 66-year-old from Vitorchiano, summarized the facts dating back to 11 June 2021.

The testimony of the woman robbed in a car wash with the trick of coins

“Late in the morning – explained the woman – I went to collect the car and after paying I placed my bag on the passenger seat and, since it was hot, I lowered the window. As I was about to board she felt a guy touch me on the shoulder and at that moment I thought it was one of the employees. The young man told me that I had dropped some pennies on the ground, but as I bent down to pick them up he heard screams, so I looked up and saw what was actually the car wash employee holding my bag. So terrified I started screaming for help and then I saw a car go away. The owner of the laundry next door, having seen everything, told me what had happened and she called the police.”
