Salvatore Dugo, 41 years old, originally from Pachino, the victim of a dramatic road accident in Ragusa in recent weeks, has died. According to the reconstruction of the municipal police, the man was riding his motorbike when, for reasons that are still being examined by the investigators, he had an impact with a minicar.
In hospital in Catania
The 41-year-old was then transported to the Cannizzaro hospital in Catania where he died in the last few hours and approval was given for the removal of his organs. Dugo worked in Ragusa, as a judicial assistant at the Chancellery of the Court of Ragusa.
Funeral tomorrow
The man was not married but had a partner and the funeral will be held on Tuesday 30 April at 3pm in the Mother Church of Pachino.
Fatal accident in the Syracuse area
A 68-year-old man from Avola died in a dramatic road accident that occurred in recent days on state road 114 between Melilli and Augusta. The victim, together with his 20-year-old son, was aboard a car, which, for reasons under investigation by the investigators, first broke through the guard rail and then ended up on an embankment, falling a few meters.
Serious injuries
The 68-year-old died in the Catania hospital where he had been transported: his condition was too serious to allow him to remain alive while his 20-year-old son is hospitalized in the Umberto I hospital in Syracuse. Distraction and high speed could have played an important role in this accident, it cannot be ruled out, at least at this stage, that the driver was forced to make a sudden manoeuvre, perhaps to avoid an obstacle: the investigators will find out at the end of the investigations.
Burned to death in Carlentini
His name is Salvatore Nigro, 76 years old, the man who died on April 24 inside his car in Carlentini, in the Syracuse area. He is a pensioner and from the story of some witnesses, shortly after arriving in Piazza Diaz he got out of his car, a Land Rover, to go to a bar and have a coffee. At that point, he entered the car and a few minutes later the fire broke out. The investigators are trying to understand the reasons that caused the fire, for this reason they have taken images from the security cameras in the area to be able to reconstruct the last moments before the tragedy.
