Luca Verna, Catanzaro midfielder, spoke at a press conference a few days before the match against Parma. Here is what our colleagues from CalcioCatanzaro.it said: “Ours is truly a championship above expectations. The primary objective was survival, now we are in the play-offs and there are eight finals in which we will meet great teams. We are all ready for this final rush. The work we do is particular, so young people needed time to assimilate certain principles. The young people couldn’t immediately adapt to this championship for their first experience, but now the coach has more solutions than at the beginning of the season.”
On Parma: “They know what they are doing, they often allow you to compete or at least make you believe so. On the first leg, in the first half hour, it seemed like it was almost our domain. They are very good at restarting if they have the field behind them and I think they will play the same game as last time. We will have to learn from the mistakes we made in that match and it will be another match.”
