BBC Grosseto has put the icing on the cake of an important transfer market, aimed at building a team capable of putting the big teams in difficulty. Sports director Filippo Olivelli brought two Cuban throwers to Maremma, Juan Penalverone of the best closers in the Caribbean championship, and Jonathan Carboone of the stars of the 2022 season. He wore the blue shirt eleven times. In 2011, at the age of twenty, he signed a professional contract with the New York Yankees, playing 21 games in the Dominican Summer rookie league.
