Sienese Alessandro Sorri, a 37-year-old surveyor for Ruffoli Srl, has been appointed vice president of the newly formed youth group of the National Association of Building Contractors (ANCE) which was formed for the first time in Tuscany. The young entrepreneur from Livorno Chiara Frangerini was unanimously elected as the first president of the youth group.
The new president Chiara Frangerini (Frangerini Impresa Srlu) – who will remain in office until 2028 – will be supported by six vice-presidents who, in addition to Sorri, are the Florentine Vanessa Vangi (Vangi Srl); the Pisan Leonardo Pescioli (TS Global Service); Devis Mitri from Grosseto (Alea Srl), Carolina Scala from Arezzo (Scala Virgilio & Figli Spa); Gabriele Taddei from Lucca (Taddei Massimo Srl).
The vice president of the Ance Toscana youth group, Alessandro Sorri, has been following the company since 2014 as instigator, technical director and partner. “I am satisfied to cover this new role which keeps the name of Ance Siena high in the Tuscan construction scene. A role that recognizes the role of the association but also of my activity within the company at a particular time for the market in which we have to face difficulties while thinking about a new development. All the more motivated because they are opportunities to highlight the importance of generational transition in strategic sectors of our economy”.
The first initiative of the Ance Toscana youth group is aimed at middle school students. This is the ideas competition “Macroscuola: sport regenerates the city”, in which young people are asked to propose projects for the redevelopment of disused or abandoned areas of their cities, transforming them into spaces for sports use.
