PROVINCE OF ALESSANDRIA – Here are some ideas for spending an Easter Sunday in the province of Alessandria among exhibitions, museums and outdoor experiences. However, if you want to work off your lunch, the best choice is a nice walk!

“Double thread. Dialogues between artists and master goldsmiths” is the new exhibition resulting from the synergy between contemporary artists and Valencian master goldsmiths, hosted in the halls of the “broletto” of Palatium Vetus in Alexandria. On display 14 jewel works. TO Monferrato Palace, until October 6th, there is the exhibition “Alessandria Preziosa-An international laboratory at the end of the sixteenth century“. After the success of the “sculpted Alexandria” exhibition in 2019, this exhibition recounts the creative civilization between the sixteenth and early seventeenth centuries of the Alexandrian territory, focusing in particular on the sumptuary arts, close to the advent of international Mannerism in the years of the Catholic Counter-Reformation. The exhibition is visitable from 10am to 1pm and from 4pm to 7pm. Ticket cost 8 euros, reduced to 5 euros.

The exhibition “Take care of yourself, you are a work of art” traces the continuous search to transform safety into a unique artistic experience and transmit a message free of negative, educational and cultural connotations, where each individual becomes a work of art to be preserved and enhanced. The works accompany the visitor on a journey through art, punctuated by safety objects, through a journey that ranges from the Renaissance beauty of Botticelli to the seductive modernity of Tamara de Lempicka. The exhibition unfolds between Palazzo Cuttica and the Borsalino Museum and can be visited until May 1st. Palazzo Cuttica is open from 3pm to 7pm (info: [email protected]). The “War Games” Of Crepaxone of the greatest masters of comics and illustration, are the protagonists of ad Alexandria at Palazzo Cuttica. The exhibition, open to the public until 5 May 2024, presents a series of works that the author created with the intention of capturing and freezing on artistic supports those magical moments that shamans describe as an intrinsic part of our nature. In an attempt to remember the light that, according to the artist, every individual possesses and to listen to our spokesperson, the heart, she uses the vibrations of color and movement to convey the sensation of an intrinsic magic of life that brings illumination to every moment . The exhibition is located in the former chapel of the Monferrato Castle “Design the inside and the outside”, which involves artists from Monferrato and Austria on the themes of contemporary drawing. “Laughter, a story, two glances” is the title of show open in the rooms on the second floor of the Monferrato Castle. The exhibition itinerary develops along two paths which are at the same time parallel, but closely linked to each other. The first has Gianni Berengo Gardin as its protagonist and offers visitors black and white photographs taken in the two-year period 2010/2011 by the master. The second, the result of the careful work of Cele Bellardone and Dino Boffa, contains the backstage shots taken during the work that the Maestro, with great enthusiasm, created at Tenuta Colombara in Livorno Ferraris. VIGNALE MONFERRATO – At the Chiesa dei Battuti there is the photographic exhibition “Monteverde Project”. The exhibition will then be open to visitors until April 14th from 4pm to 7pm. Free entry.
