A goal from Finotto in the 90th minute allows Carrarese to beat Perugia and extend the lead over the red and whites to 5 points in the race for third place. The Griffins held the field well, but only threatened a few times. And in the end they return from the trip to Tuscany without even a point.
Pleasant match at the start, with conclusions from both sides, which however did not worry the two goalkeepers. The first complicated intervention was made by Adamonis, who prevented Coppolaro’s shot in the 41st minute.
In injury time, the Grifo goalkeeper is called upon to block the shot attempted by Cicconi in the heart of the area, without strength or precision.
At the start of the second half the home team came close to taking the lead with Zanon’s attack, blocked by Adamonis; Finotto then sends out the attempt to return the goal.
Perugia sees themselves again near Bleve with Matos, who however shoots centrally.
At 15′ Formisano changes the entire offensive department. Perugia is now lined up with Ricci behind the attacking midfielder Sylla. But it was Carrarese who became dangerous shortly afterwards, with Adamonis still careful to thwart Cicconi’s aerial shot.
Sylla finds himself alone in front of Bleve on Ricci’s pass and shoots high, but the attacker had started from an irregular position.
However, in the 90th minute the home team came through: Paz recovered from Panico, but Belloni fed Finotto the ball which earned Carrarese the victory.

Adamonis 7: saves Grifo twice, then has to capitulate in the 90th minute.
Mezzoni 6: match without jolts. Except in the final rebound that condemns the Grifo.
Lewis 6: keeps the department, albeit with some trouble. But in the end the door does not remain untouched.
Vulikic 5.5: upon returning, he doesn’t provide the security needed (46′ st Cudrig sv).
Paz 6: at the start he is the most vital, especially in the push phase. In the goal action he opposes Panico.
Iannoni 6: few incursions, more careful to contain than to propose (38′ st Bartolomei sv: he sees himself back on the pitch in a burning final).
Torrasi 5.5: Grifo at low speed.
Kouan 5: without tears, more committed to containing (46′ st Vazquez).
Cancellieri 6: at the start he is purposeful on the wing, then he loses himself,
Matos 6: a conclusion, without conviction. But he showed signs of recovery, until the substitution, which appeared hasty from what we had seen (15 ‘st Ricci 6: in the final he puts Sylla alone in front of the opposing goalkeeper, who however started from an offside position).
Seghetti 5.5: this time there were no flashes. And the coach keeps him on the pitch for just over an hour (15′ st Sylla 5: he is not in good condition, as can be seen when, despite being offside, he kicks Ricci’s ball out. Perugia needs their centre-forward).
Coach Formisano 5.5: the declared objective was to win, but from what we saw on the pitch Perugia seemed to settle for a draw. And in the end that didn’t arrive either.
