FANO – «The new Prg received 270 observations, while in 2009 there were 1060, demonstrating that this Prg is based on relationships and discussion after a truly participatory process». Deputy Mayor Fanesi announces that, next week, the City Council will decide on the acceptance of the observations that had to be presented by February 20th, so as to then proceed with the definitive adoption of the PRG.

Observations, five times less

«In 2009 there were so many observations – says deputy mayor Fanesi -, today the number is very modest, confirming the good dialogue that took place with the aim of avoiding conflicts. Furthermore, compared to 15 years ago when a 15 euro revenue stamp was required to send your observations, this time we have established that the communication channel should pass through the sending of a simple email to make the process simpler and more direct. with professional associations, citizens and interest groups. 55% of the proposals were deemed acceptable, 39% rejected and the remaining 6% judged not to be evaluated.

The philosophy of the new Prg

«The philosophy that inspired this Prg – continues Fanesi – is that of decreasing land consumption, reducing commercial and residential areas. An important fact is connected to the clear cut of building areas, so as to meet the requests of those citizens who, finding land no longer attractive for construction, will pay a lower amount of IMU.

The Community Hubs in each neighborhood characterize the Prg, i.e. spaces and places of sociality, thanks to which each community can find itself. Our idea of the city is polycentric, capable of connecting with citizens in a sustainable way. With the new PRG, we are committed to creating a more inclusive and livable city.”

The former sugar factory

Fanesi then announced the definitive turning point for the former sugar factory: «A logistics hub for the food sector will be created. All the skeletons will be demolished and it will be built on 40 thousand square meters, compared to the 60 thousand that had been planned, on a total area of 230 thousand square meters. A very complex project driven by technology, artificial intelligence and a sustainability-oriented approach. There will be no pollution, indeed an energy community will be created for the production of energy and a ten hectare green area.” Fanesi thanked the entire Prg office team led by the manager Arch. Adriano Giangolini and composed of Eng. Marco Ferri, the urban planner Pia Miccoli and the Arch. Pietrelli eyeshadow.
