Foods of the Future, the meeting “sustainability in the food system” at the Natural History Museum

Support critical consumption in the agri-food sector, to help achieve fair trade exchanges, promoting both agricultural incomes and the possibility of purchasing genuine, fresh, healthy, 0km products at affordable prices. This is the theme at the center of the workshop ‘Sustainability in the food system’ scheduled for Tuesday 30 April, from 2pm to 6pm, at the Natural History Museum.

The initiative was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Verona, Civic Museums and the Department of Human Sciences of the University of Verona and is part of an agreement stipulated for the implementation of interventions on digitalisation and sustainability as part of the transversal Citizen engagement activities of the PNRR project iNEST Consortium (Cross-cutting Activity 3 – Citizen Engagement).

The meeting is aimed mainly, but not exclusively, at teachers and educational operators and focuses on agricultural and consumption practices that allow producers and consumers to interact without the intervention of intermediaries.

Plan

At 2pm, seeguided tour of the Natural History Museum – at 15workshop on the topic ‘Sustainability in the food system’ with Giovanna Sacchi of the University of Turin.

Participation is free and free until all available places are filled.
Upon request, a certificate of participation will be issued on site.
