American Airlines announces the introduction of Flagship® First on flights between Rome Fiumicino and New York JFK. Starting from April 1st, the introduction of Flagship® First on flights between Rome Fiumicino and New York JFK will make American Airlines is the only US airline to offer First Class between Italy and the United States.

Choosing to fly Flagship® First with American Airlines means immersing yourself in a luxury travel experience that allows passengers to relax and enjoy the flight in total comfort. Plus, the privileges included in the Flagship® First ticket guarantee exclusive access to personalized services on international flights, speeding up security check procedures and offering access to exclusive services such as high-speed Wi-Fi and Shinola and DS & Durga amenity kits to make the journey even more comfortable.

Flagship® First will be available throughout the 2024 summer season, starting April 1st, on flights between Rome FCO and New York JFK operated by Boeing 777-300 aircraft offering passengers a choice of four travel experiences: Flagship® First, Flagship® Business, Premium Economy and Main Cabin. Starting from June 6, connections between Rome FCO and New York JFK will double thanks to the introduction of the second daily flight between the two cities.

The second daily connection between Rome Fiumicino and New York JFK will be operated from 6 June to 5 August with Boeing 777-300 aircraft configured in four service classes: Flagship® First, Flagship® Business, Premium Economy and Main Cabin, and then switching to Boeing 777-200 aircraft configured in three service classes: Flagship® Business, Premium Economy and Main Cabin. The first daily connection will see a change of aircraft from B777-300 to B777-200 between 20 July and 5 August. In fact, American Airlines will offer Flagship® First on one of two flights per day between Rome Fiumicino and New York JFK throughout the 2024 summer season.

During the 2024 summer season, American will operate up to 7 flights per day from Rome Fiumicino to the United States of America. All flights between Rome and the United States will be operated by modern aircraft that offer passengers a complete high-level experience that includes Business Class and Premium Economy seats, state-of-the-art interiors, high-speed Wi-Fi and a on-board entertainment with 1,500 contents, free and regularly updated, accessible from each seat.
