Frost. The judges of the Caltanissetta review court are evaluating the appeals advanced by the defense of those involved in the “Ianus” anti-mafia investigation. For the most part, lawyers are starting to receive decisions confirming what was decided by the investigating judge during the investigation phase. According to investigators, the two families of Cosa Nostra, the Rinzivillos and the Emmanuellos, were reorganizing themselves. The references would have been the fifty-one-year-old Giuseppe Tasca for the Rinzivillo group and the forty-two-year-old Crocifisso Di Gennaro for the Emmanuello. A total of fifty-five restrictive measures were carried out by the police. The Nisseni judges, in these hours, have released their decisions. Among the few changes, the cancellation of Rocco Rinzivillo’s position was ordered. According to the reviewing magistrates, the conditions for the mafia dispute are lacking. The defence’s appeal, supported by the lawyer Rocco Cutini, was thus partially accepted. Cancellation for the mafia dispute and for that linked to the availability of weapons was instead decided for Vincenzo Romano, assisted by the lawyer Angelo Cafà. The lawyer insisted on the absence of concrete evidence that could place the thirty-six year old in the organizational chart of the local clans. For both, the restrictive measures are however confirmed.
