The first family park in Umbria is preparing to welcome Perugians and tourists over the weekend – The reptile house, among the largest in Europe, reopens and the falconry shows return

Surrounded by greenery, suspended between an avant-garde past, as a forerunner of amusement parks, and a future yet to be written, there is City of Sunday, in Perugia. A place very dear to the people of Perugia who rediscover it during the holidays, mixing with the many tourists visiting Umbria, again this year among the most popular destinations for the Easter holidays.

“We have reason to believe that during the Easter holidays we will register numerous presences – declared Alessandro Guidi, director of Città della Domenica – because we have received many requests for information, especially from outside the region. We will be happy to welcome those who want to come and visit us, aware that Città della Domenica is a park that needs to be discovered and a single day may not be enough. This is why the Easter weekend is the ideal time. This year too we decided to make the purchased ticket valid until November, therefore for the entire season, so as to be able to return several times to the first family park in Umbria”.

In its 40 hectares of biodiversity, including plants and animals, including exotic ones, it is possible to spend moments of leisure and entertainment, taking part in land art workshops, walking along the paths along the wildlife route to meet animals free or on the farm, speeding along the Go-kart track or ride the horses in the riding stables. There are no obligatory routes but you certainly cannot leave Città della Domenica without visiting the Reptile House, one of the largest in Europe, which reopens on the Easter weekend, or attending the fascinating and interactive Falconry shows. All the activities, news and opening hours of the park can be consulted on the website wwww.cittadelladomenica.it.
