PISTOIA – President Luca Marmo, with decree n. 58 of 03/28/2024, assigned the delegations to the provincial councilors in office this morning.

“I am satisfied with the team that was created following the elections of March 17th” – comments the president – ​​“It was my intention to make the new council fully operational in the shortest time possible. Hence yesterday’s Provincial Council and, immediately following, the assignment of delegations. In line with the mandate guidelines, the objective, also in terms of political attention, is to guarantee maximum oversight of ordinary matters by keeping a strong focus on the vision of the future.”

The delegations:

Lisa Amidei: Road conditions and road infrastructure, Equal Opportunities, Provincial Coordination of Labor Policies within the framework of what has been delegated by the Tuscany Region and in operation of the role of partner body of ITS Prime;

Francesco Branchetti: Political Coordination of the Project for the development of Energy Communities in the territory of the Province of Pistoia within the Provincial Strategic Planning Table, Provincial Culture Table, Provincial Adult Education System;

Gabriele Giacomelli: Management and Enhancement of Provincial Heritage, School Buildings, Provincial Expropriations Commission, Special Projects of the Presidency;

Matteo Giusti: Local Public Transport, Provincial School Network, Political Coordination Activities to support the transition to digital for local provincial bodies;

Nicola Tesi: Provincial Police, Civil Protection, Political Coordination of the Project for the Development of Soft Mobility within the Provincial Strategic Planning Table.

The appointment of the vice president of the Province will follow in the next few days.
