The “pact” is sanctioned by a letter signed by the mayors Mario Conte, Luigi Brugnaro, Giuseppe Sala, Matteo Lepore and Stefano Lo Russo sent to all the municipalities of the respective provinces which launches a new phase in environmental policies.
THE TARGET
“Breathe clean Air it is a fundamental right of everyone – they write – but we are aware that even the most drastic interventions, if adopted individually, are not sufficient to mitigate the problem». Hence the choice to adopt common policies valid throughout the world Po basin. The mayors therefore give an appointment to all their colleagues for April 22nd, Earth Day, at Piccolo Teatro Strehler«to listen to scientists, doctors, associations, citizens and to ask Italy and Europe with a single voice to be at our side on the front line».
