“Taranto squares the circle” – headlines today’s edition of Corriere dello Sport in an article by Vito from Us. Excellent farewells, but performance even superior to the first round. A masterpiece by Capuano.
Taranto, continuity is everything – writes the CdS – peaks of enthusiasm or discouragement, especially in the month of March, were different, but the results achieved by the rossoblù on the green rectangle leave no room for misunderstandings, nor for particular insights: Capuano’s team went further, even in the face of adversity. The return numbers take on more value. Because most of these were conquered without Antonini, Romano and Cianci. In their places were people on the margins in their respective teams: Miceli and Matera were redundant at Torre del Greco, the same leitmotif for Simeri and De Marchi in the ranks of Carrarese and Padova respectively. The players have changed, but the results have not and the merits go mainly to Capuano.
