Training courses start today, Thursday 28 March 2024 bradyseismic risk in the Phlegraean Fields for managers, officials and public employees involved in the National Service Civil protection and educational institutions. The courses will be held in the Auditorium of the Campania region on Island C3 of the Management Centre Naples.
The activity involves teachers from the Civil Protection Department of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers, the INGV, the Civil Protection of Campania region and of the Municipalities involved, is part of the Communication Plan approved by Regional Council resolution 679 of 23 November following Legislative Decree 140 of 12 October 2023.
The courses will be divided into in-depth analyzes of the various technical aspects regarding the caldera. Eight topics were covered: the National Civil Protection Service and the regional system; the scientific aspects linked to volcanic phenomenology; the National Plan Phlegraean Fields for volcanic risk;
The operational phases for volcanic risk planning; municipal planning for volcanic risk; the DL 140; the Communication Plan and correct behavior; the Emergency Expedition Plan for bradyseism risk.
The training activity for officials aims at specialized training to encourage the dissemination of knowledge of the measures connected to the planning of Civil protection. The route develops in parallel with the one for volunteers which started last March 23rd and which sees the second edition already scheduled for next April 6th again at the Auditorium of Management Center.
