ANCONA – All together passionately at 8.00 pm tomorrow, 28 April, the matches oflast day of series C. It is the Sunday of truth for all four teams from the Marche region, all fighting in the playout zone – only Olbia has already been relegated – and looking for points for direct salvation, theAnconaor to face the playouts from the best position, Recanati And Vis Pesaroor to try to dispute them, the Stop. L’Ancona face the Lucchese, theoretically without goals since it was saved and can no longer reach the playoffs. Dorici with their fans, unlike what was feared between Wednesday and Thursday due to the events that occurred in Pescara, and unlike the Pescara who faces the trip to Recchioni: the Stop with the Pescara look for those three points which are essential to hope for an Ancona slip and to grab the playouts at the last minute. There Recanati look for points against the Virtus Entella, which however is not mathematically safe, because in the event of a defeat and a victory for Fermana it would end up in the playout against the Canaries. For the Recanatese three points are essential to keep the Vis Pesaro, given that a hypothetical link to Ancona would not change the ranking, by virtue of the Dorics’ better goal difference. Recanatese must also guard against a possible finish on par with Vis Pesaro, who have the advantage over the Leopardi team in terms of goal difference and equal head-to-head matches.
There Vis Pesaro must win against Juventus Next Gen, which defends sixth place and threatens Gubbio’s fifth, in the hope of overtaking Recanatese. At the moment, with the current ranking Ancona is safe without playing the playouts, Fermana has consequently been relegated, and Recanatese and Vis Pesaro are in the playouts. If Ancona wins tomorrow confirms its position in the standings and confirms or increases the point difference with Fermana, therefore it is safe and, consequently, Fermana is relegated. If Fermana wins to compete in the playouts they must hope either for a draw or defeat for Ancona or for a defeat for Entella against Recanatese. The latter is certainly in the playouts with Vis Pesaro: to have the advantage of the ranking and therefore survival in the event of an equal score in the sum of the two matches of playout – there are no extra time or penalties – Vis Pesaro must keep behind them. In the event of a draw or defeat for Recanatese in Chiavari, Vis Pesaro, by winning against Juventus Next Gen, can move into fourth-to-last place and have the advantage of survival in the event of an equal score in the sum of the two playout matches.
