There’s a month left until the presentation of the Rai schedules – the event will take place on July 19th in Naples – but the first strategies are already starting to be outlined. With an answer to the main question of the last few weeks: ‘Chesarà…’ by Serena Bortone is it confirmed for the next television season? It would seem not. Actually, it is stop the program after the Scurati case and the presenter’s statements – complete with the subsequent reaction of the CEO Roberto Sergio with the statement “In another company she would have been fired” – it now seems confirmed. Could it just be a season of “Purgatory” and then return in 2025? It is not yet clear, we will only be able to understand it in a little while. Serena Bortone, however, would return to daytime.
The return of some well-known faces is expected: Giovanni Minoliwho will be at the helm of a new program broadcast from Monday to Friday in the morning on Rai3, to tell the great events of history relevant for the country, Massimo Gilettiwho should be at the helm of a new in-depth broadcast on Mondays on Raitre with the relocation of the broadcast of Except Sottile ‘FarWest’ in another position probably in the prime time of Friday evening, Antonino Monteleone, a well-known face from ‘Le Iene’, with a new program in the prime time of Thursday on Raidue, and Maria Latella in Raitre’s access prime time.
On Sunday ‘Report’, which would alternate as per tradition with ‘Presdirect”, could leave early, thus occupying the space of the Sunday episode of ‘Chesarà…’. Among other possible innovations, the return of Veronica Pivetti with ‘Amore Criminale’, the moving of ‘Tango’ by Luisella Costamagna from the late evening of Monday to that of Friday on Raidue, making way for a new program by Elisabetta Gregoraci.
