During their marriage, Sonia Bruganelli and Paolo Bonolis became parents of three children: Davide, Silvia and Adele. When she was pregnant with her second child, the TV producer discovered that the little girl was suffering from a health problem, a form of heart disease, which would have required surgery when she was born. “I didn’t feel like a mother emotionally up to such a difficult situation”, Bruganelli had told us about it. After the operation, the little girl developed hypoxia which caused permanent neurological damage. “I was only 27 years old, the suffering was too much to handle. Over the years, Bonolis and Bruganelli raised the little girl without ever missing anything, surrounded by love.
