Not only Simona Ventura with facial paralysis live on “Citofonare Rai2”. Now also Daniele Persegani, chef of “It’s Always Noon”, his face remained blocked during the live broadcast and he also received a good-natured rebuke from Antonella Clerici: “Daniele, up to now I have respected your privacy, but perhaps the time has come to explain. Many people have noticed lately that you have a facial problem, the same problem that Simona Ventura has.” Persegani tried to lighten things up with a joke: “I’m a fan of Simona, we made her come together.”

There Clerics, however, goes beyond the joke and continues with the lecture, given that the chef has clearly been affected by what is called “Bell’s Palsy”, that is, a sudden weakening of the muscles on one side of the face, due to a malfunction of the facial nerve: “It can be caused by the cold but also by stress: sometimes you work a lot and rest little, I told Simona, who I love, and I tell you Daniele, I love you too. Every now and then you have to stop, get into bed with the covers, watch TV from bed.”

Persegani, however, he doesn’t like it: “It’s so hot and we have to go to bed with blankets? But Super Simo and I are like that: always believe, never give up!”. Clerici does not sketch, on the contrary: “This is true, but every now and then we also need to embrace the cross and say: let’s be calm for a moment. I wrote it to Simona, I’m telling you here now: we need a bit of relaxation.” After the episode that hit her, Simona Ventura returned to “Citofonare Rai2” with Paola Perego, but during the episode she announced that she will have to take a break to get back into shape. In the meantime, she was a guest of Francesca Fagnani at Belve.
