An important update arrives on the health conditions of the Minister of Defense, Guido Crosetto. “I am clearly improving”, what he filters on the founder of Fratelli d’Italia. The head of cardiac surgery at San Carlo di Nancy, Prof., directly took care of giving an overview of the situation. Giuseppe Speziale: “The clinical investigations confirmed that it was a new episode of pericarditis which presented itself in a much more painful form than the previous episode and, as then, without cardiac implications. Once the acute phase of pain has passed, pericarditis is treated like a normal infection, with anti-inflammatory therapy.”

The minister spent the night peacefully, still monitored at the hospital’s coronary unit. Crosetto canceled today and tomorrow’s commitments but in the morning he had a meeting with his closest collaborators for the daily briefing on the evolution of the security framework. Perhaps a call today with a foreign colleague. “I would like to thank all the people, friends, known or unknown, who in these last hours have sent me messages of friendship, closeness and affection”, the first words of Crosetto, who yesterday had to abandon the Supreme Defense Council due to pericarditis , being taken to hospital by ambulance.
