Amazfit has made its first smart fitness ring official: it is Amazfit Helio Ringalready available in Europe, also in combination with various smartwatches (through the Zepp Health company).
Amazfit Helio Ring is made externally of titanium alloy while the interior is made of resin. 8 mm wide, it is 2.6 mm thick, with a certified waterproofness of 10 ATM. The company said a maximum autonomy of 4 dayswith a full charge (wireless) taking just over an hour and a half (around 1 hour and 40 minutes).
The fitness ring is capable of monitoring heart rate, blood oxygen saturation, stress level as well as sleep. Furthermore, it will be able to provide users with useful advice on how to train and rest after a series of workouts. Then there is no shortage of it ability to synchronize with third-party apps, such as Strava, Google Fit and Apple Health. For those who have Zepp smartwatches, the ring will integrate the information from this device.
The smart fitness ring will be connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth and it will be usable via the Zepp app (available for both iOS and Android). Finally, it is likely that this Amazfit Helio Ring will be identical (or almost) to the smart ring that Xiaomi will offer (our article about it is available here).

There is no monthly subscription for using the ring, while the company has clarified that at least in this first phase Two sizes are available (from 10 and 12).
