Fake Covid vaccines, 6 year prison sentence for 2 nurses

The two nurses at the Palermo civic hospital were sentenced to six years in prison for failing to administer the anti-Covid vaccine, throwing it in gauze before faking the injection, when they were on duty at the Fiera hub. The crime, committed in exchange for money, was caught by the Digos during an investigation into fake green passes, the green certification requested in the midst of the pandemic to protect public health.

Palermo, fake anti-Covid vaccines in exchange for money. Nurses condemned

Nurses at the Palermo civic hospital caught throwing the anti-Covid vaccine into a gauze before faking the injection.

The evidence of the crime, also collected through telephone interceptions, was so clearly evident that the two nurses went to trial with immediate judgment for actions committed between December 2021 and January 2022.

At the trial, two other people, anti-vax activists, who would certainly have paid the two nurses, were also sentenced to 4 and a half years in prison, even if other suspects were identified, including a policeman and a criminal, whose causes are still pendants.

During the interrogation only one nurse had admitted her responsibilities, justifying having committed the crime because she needed money to support her son’s university studies. In exchange for fake Covid vaccination he had pocketed about 400 euros at a time.

The second nurse, on the other hand, allegedly acted illegally because she was pushed by a strong no vax ideological conviction. The images show her making the sign of the cross before proceeding with the administration. The investigations also revealed that she had not vaccinated, using the same technique, 49 other people who instead wanted the vaccine and who had happened to be at the nurse’s vaccination station in the two days in which she worked there.

At the trial, which was held with an abbreviated procedure, the judge of the Palermo court also ordered a compensation of 5 thousand euros for the Order of Nursing Professions and a total of 7,500 euros for five people among those who had not been vaccinated without their knowledge and who had taken civil action.
