Saint Von Colucci, Canadian actor, died at the age of 22 of complications from plastic surgery operations. He had sustained as many as 12, to look like a South Korean singer, until the last one proved fatal: on April 22, the young man underwent surgery to remove implants from his jaw. Unfortunately for him, those devices caused him a serious infection, which left him no way out. He died the following morning in a South Korean hospital, still intubated, after spending a fortune on all the touch-ups: about 220 thousand dollars.
Von Colucci had moved to South Korea in 2019 to work at a large local entertainment company. His task was to interpret “Jimin“, lead singer of the South Korean Kpop group BTS, very famous in the motherland. He wanted to look like him in every way, even in his physical appearance, which he was willing to distort. This explains the reason for that string of surgical retouches. Very expensive. All performed within the last year.
The latest jaw surgery was just the latest in the series: first come face lifts, eye lifts, brow lifts. And then at least one rhinoplasty and lip reduction. Other small minor interventions conclude the list.
Spokesman: “He was insecure about his appearance”
“It was very unfortunate,” the actor’s publicist Eric Blake, his spokesman since March 2022, told the Daily Mail. Blake confirmed that his client knew very well how risky jaw implant surgery was. But he had decided to undergo the operation anyway.
He was very insecure about his appearance, he had a very square jaw and chin and he didn’t like the shape because he thought it was too wide. He wanted a V shape, the shape many Asians have.’
