There was talk of a alleged illness which would have reduced it into end of life ndespite half of Italy having seen him as the protagonist of the final of “Io Canto Family” among the jurors of the talent show.

Since these were recorded episodes, the concern and anxiety also spread among his friends who were worried about him. But he was directly interested in restoring the balance by specifying what the truth is.

Having learned of the unfounded rumors circulating about his health conditions, Albano wanted to clarify things. He did it with a tough guy vent on social media and a clarifying video underlining that the rumors that had been spread were just rumors fake news.

“They spread the news that I was about to die and I didn’t know anything about it” clarified the singer who defined himself, again “prisoner of fake news”. How did you find out? Thanks to Sophia Loren who contacted him worried about what she had read. “Bloody news” said bluntly the partner of Loredana Lecciso, the woman who recently said two important no’s.

Albano clarified that he is not feeling ill nor is he at the end of his life as spread online by some people: I’m fine, thank God, and I can prove it. And thank God there is a lot of work and I can do it great.”

Reassurance for his audience

Albano’s thoughts went to his audience who have always followed him. He wanted to reassure him by underlining that he is fine, that he continues to sing and that “everything is going great”. Directly from his Cellino San Marco he sent everyone “a big hug and a great load of happiness”.

In the caption to the video, the singer added a reference to his greatest success, the one from 1987 together with Romina Power, his then wife (few know about the betrayal with Lorenzo Crespi): “Fake news has very short legs… or rather, no legs!!! Happiness!”.
