Surgery for Antonella Clerici who, in a post on Instagram, says she had emergency ovarian surgery after a regular check-up for a cyst. The TV presenter underwent surgery in Rome, but now controversy is raging on social media. Here’s the reason.
In the post, complete with photos from the hospital bed, Antonella Clerici thanked all the doctors who have been close to her in recent days and who operated on her. Special thanks to Adriana Bonifacinor, director of Clinical Senology at the IDI-IRCCS, IDI Istituto Dermopatico dell’Immacolata, in Rome. Bonifacino, wrote Antonella, «she was always at my side with sweetness, firmness, competence and affection».
Clerici underwent surgery immediately, social controversy erupts
And the doctor always wanted to thank her via social media for these words. «Thank you Antonella for this post. Believing in prevention and practicing it is the best thing for ourselves to love ourselves more. Prevention is the most powerful weapon we have and even amidst many difficulties we manage to maintain a very efficient NHS with extraordinary professionals of a high professional profile. Thank you so much because we often can’t get where you can get. To the hearts of people»wrote Dr. Bonifacino.
Clerici simply reiterated his gratitude by writing, instead, «Thanks to you Adri, for everything». Antonella Clerici suddenly hospitalized for cancer: «Illness like a tsunami».
Precisely after the manager’s response, a user on Instagram expressed her doubt: «With an ordinary person it wouldn’t have gone so quickly this is» insinuated the follower. And Bonifacino wanted to give a very firm and convinced response to these words: «As far as I’m concerned this isn’t the case. I’ve been working for 45 years and I can assure you that there is a lot of good healthcare. I admitted the difficulties. But I have always worked in hospitals and public environments for 44 years. Antonella talks about it and speaks to people’s hearts. But many others and certainly not for me could do it. We are here».
