Some call it Carrenaissance, other fashion ABCs, but only one fact is certain: perfectly balanced on a pair of always different high heels – but always rigorously designed by Manolo Blahnik – chasing a taxi through the streets of New York was Carrie Bradshaw to teach us how to dress. Although our fashionable heroine had a wardrobe full of clothes and nothing to wear, as she herself states in a famous quote from the well-known 90s TV series, that goes without saying. Perhaps she never had enough of fashion, and we, like her, have stocked up on fashion inspiration thanks to her iconic looks.
It is impossible for us to deny that there are characters destined to remain imprinted in the history of television as well as in the hearts of viewers, and it so happens that the one played by Sarah Jessica Parker be one of these. The boundary between reality and fiction becomes blurred, the story challenges temporal laws by showing an uncommon topicality. Imaginary personalities become icons in the flesh, sharing the same problems and the same joys with us.
Let’s face it, we’re all a bit Carrie Bradshaw, and Carrie Bradshaw is a bit all of us. Except for her priceless wardrobe, the one custom designed for her by Patricia Field and which can only and only remain a dream tightly locked in a drawer, for life.
Although this does not constitute a reason for joy at all, here is one ready to subvert broken hearts: the filming of the third season of “And Just Like That” (The reboot acclaimed by the millions of fans of “Sex And The City“) have begun and appear to be progressing at a rapid pace. It goes without saying that, while waiting for the first episodes, the spotlight is on the first images emerging from the set, which provide the most curious with a delicious appetizer regarding what will be the breathtaking ensembles exhibited by our darling. And this, it must be said, is the only spoiler that we willingly accept.
What transpires from first looks emerged is how fashion will continue to be a fundamental and constant presence that makes both the character and the series recognisable, inevitably contributing to establishing the trends of the present and the future.
The first two seasons bear witness to this: there are numerous outfits and accessories that have not gone unnoticed, gaining a rightful place in the memory of those in front of the screen. One above all the extravagant Pigeon bag by JW Anderson, the vaporous wedding dress signed Vivienne Westwood – the so-called Cloud dress – in version reloadedas well as all those archive dresses that recalled key moments from the original series, the tulle skirt to name one.
Again, what awaits us? Uncertainty has its charm, but the new ones stylist Molly Rogers and Danny Santiago (devoted more than ever to the imagery traced by the unsurpassed Patricia Field) promise not to disappoint us this time either. And we can only trust, given and considering the wow-effect that they have been able to give us so far, at the sight of the scenographic outfits that have dotted the first two seasons of AJLT.
Faithful to mood characteristic of “Sex And The City” the pairing has in fact set itself the arduous objective of tracing every single peculiarity of the characters in the series, giving them new freshness, far from too many upheavals. As for the new ones, however, we leave the words to you.
Mission accomplished, for now. What do we know exactly about the – more or less – imminent future? Although still too little to satisfy our hunger, all that remains is to continue reading.

We, however, have her as a point of reference in our difficult moments.
The appointment with “And Just Like That 3” is unfortunately set for 2025, but it will not be a blind date. The most journalist cool of Manhattan has already been spotted in high-rate estates glamour which do nothing but fuel the already high expectations.

While we are still trying to understand whether fashion trends determine what the faces ofAnd Just Like That“should dress, or whether it is the latter who draw up the dictates, here is a personal interpretation by Carrie Bradshaw of trend I see-I don’t see. The transparencies that are being brought about so much in recent times flourish on the actress thanks to a soft tulle dress which bears the signature of Simone Rocha.
The result is anything but brazen, and at the same time also winks at the coquette aesthetic: it is an outfit made up of outerwear with a hybrid cut and oversized sleeves and a loose dress with a bustier, both in pink organza. Finally, bouquets of long-stemmed roses emerge from the pockets and through the puffed sleeves. Here too the Aquazzura shoes close the look, but this time we’re talking about the So Nude Sandal 105 in beige colour.

Who teaches us how to wear a denim skirt with style? Obviously Carrie Bradshaw again. The denim maxi skirts have returned to the limelight and, inevitably, ours fashion addict of the heart could only tell us his opinion on the matter: he chooses a draped one, with a peplum and a very high waist – by Maison Margiela – paired with a nude bodysuit.
A pair of handbags, one with a fabric print and one with a retro feel, combined with the pure white Mary Janes set the tone.

We end our fashionable journey with a evening lookone of the latest to emerge: we are talking about a blue dress, in midi size and studded with sparkling crystals along its entire length.
The ensemble is the brilliant idea we’ve been waiting for, ready to be replicated. The silhouette – still perfect – of the actress is further enhanced by the rigid straps of Alex Perry’s creation, further enhanced by the silver heels by Aquazzurra and the jeweled clutch bag. Have we seen enough? Clearly not, but we just have to wait any longer for dessert.
