It’s almost July and many people are anxiously awaiting the 655 euro bonus: what the INPS announcement says.
Every year millions of Italians anxiously await the month of July, not only for the summer holidays, but also for the arrival of a substantial bonus that is added to their income. This is a bonus reserved for a very specific category of taxpayers.
This additional sum, we could call extra bonuses, can lead to an increase in monthly income up to a maximum of 655 euros. Introduced to provide additional economic aid, the disbursement of this sum is based on specific criteria and well-defined conditions which we will analyze in detail.

The term “14th month salary” inside the pension sector it can be confusing. This concept, which might seem similar to the thirteenth month’s salary of employees, actually hides a specific and targeted form of economic support. The additional sum is credited automatically on your July pension payslip and is not subject to adjustments or revaluations over time, thus distinguishing itself from the traditional thirteenth of employed workers. The amount of the additional sum varies based on the ordinary pension received And to the years of contributions to the INPS system, both for employees and for the self-employed. The maximum amount of 655 euros is credited on the first bankable day of July.
For 2024, the requirements must be accrued by July 31st to obtain the disbursement in the July payslip. Those who meet the requirements from 1 August to 31 December 2024 will see the additional sum paid with the December 2024 payslip, provided they respect the age and income limits set.
