400 jobs in two years

Kpmg, a global network of professional services, invests in Naples and Campania. It will be operational from October 1st on “Kpmg Open Platform”, an innovative hub of solutions for businesses and public administration. The new structure will open its headquarters at Management Center and will occupy 3 thousand square meters of surface area. Its focus will be the development of a series of high-tech solutions focused on Cyber security, Program Management and Managed services.

«The new platform was created in response to a phase of strong transformation in the demand for professional services for businesses, – declared Mario Corti, senior partner and president of Kpmg ‒ with the increasingly rapid and pervasive diffusion of digital technologies which are redefining the service model towards “end to end” solutions.

In this phase of great change it is important to support businesses and public administration, especially in the execution phase.”

«We have followed this arrival of Kpmg in Naples with great attention, ‒ he commented Gaetano Manfredi, mayor of Naples ‒ because we continually confronted society. The program is also part of the growth project of Naples which, with its assets, also has strategic consultancy. For us it is very important and we have chosen the Management Center as the location of their structure and we are working to guarantee the best logistical conditions, it is a moment of relaunch for the Management Center too.”

«The Region facilitated this operation, ‒ he concluded Ettore Cinque, budget councilor of the Campania Region ‒ over the years we have worked very well with Kpmg and somehow a cross-fertilization has been created between the region and Kpmg. The choice that the company makes today to set up a hub in the city of Naples and have 400 people is certainly also thanks to the fact that the region has focused on innovation, quality services and skills”.

With this project Kpmg consolidates its presence in the city, where it is already operational with around 150 professionals. The choice of Naples aims to enhance existing relationships. The project of “Core Academy” developed by the company with the Federico II University, which every year aims to train 40 young graduates in the most innovative areas of the public sector.
