Clearly, there are many vehicles on the motorway, you also go at a certain speed and it is important to drive carefully, but one of the most frequent inconveniences that slow down the journey is certainly the queue at the toll booths. Especially during the periods when you return from holidays, for example, there is a real crush of cars, and this slows down the journey at times significantly.

When you find yourself in these situations, it’s not pleasant, but you have to arm yourself with patience and wait your turn. Or, decide to use the Telepass subscription. It is a method that allows the automatic toll payment, and which over the years has seen more and more services available to users. For example, it is possible also pay for car washes, taxis, trains, public transport, ski passes. Changes are now expected for young people and urban centers.

This service can be activated using a credit or debit card and will include “the main mobility-related services present on the Telepass platform, excluding electronic tolls and the related on-board device”. Just download the appropriate app on your mobile phone.

Regarding urban centers, there will be further changes, with the “Top 50 Cities” plan. It aims to improve the travel experience and save as much time as possible in the various Italian cities and therefore not only in large cities. Ergo, there will be some important changes regarding the Telepass service, which remains a great help for traveling without worries, and without wasting time at toll booths, with queues that can sometimes be really long.
