The new geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are weighing heavily. Focus on oil sector stocks. The euro fell below $1.065.
The major Italian Stock Exchange indices and the main European financial markets they should start the last session of the week with a sharp decline, in the wake of heightened tensions in the Middle East. Today is a day of technical deadlines; Option contracts on stocks and indices dated April 2024 expire.
THE main US stock indexes they finished the day with fractional variations. The Dow Jones gained 0.06% to 37,775 points, while the S&P500 suffered a decline of 0.22% to 5,011 points. A negative sign also for the Nasdaq (-0.52% to 15,602 points).
International tensions have knocked the Tokyo Stock Exchange in the last session of the week. The Nikkei index dropped 2.66% to 37,068 points, after fluctuating between a minimum of 36,733 points and a maximum of 37,749 points.
The bitcoin it dropped to 62,000 dollars (just under 58,500 euros).
The Btp-Bund spread it stands just under 140 points, with the yield on the 10-year BTP falling to 3.85%.
L’EUR remains below $1.065.
