BOLOGNA – New investment by the former CEO of Gucci, Marco Bizzarri in the luxury sector. After having invested in the Elisabetta Franchi brand, today the former manager announces that together with Mario Gardini of Orienta Capital Partners he has bought the majority of the shares of Visionnaire, a Bolognese brand founded by the Cavalli family and active in the field of high-end design, until now controlled by Apheon fund.

The purchase takes place through Forel, a company led by Bizzarri and Gardini, and represents the second investment not long after the announcement of the agreement with the designer Elisabetta Franchi for the purchase of a minority share of the company (until 23%), of which Bizzarri became president.

Under the leadership of the family of co-founders Leopoldo Cavalli and Eleonore Cavalli, who hold the roles of CEO and creative director, Visionnaire has become one of the leaders in the highest segment of the luxury market, catering to customers from all over the world. «Recognized for its exclusivity, 100% Made in Italy artisanal production and highly tailored customer service – explains Forel – Visionnaire is a company attentive to sustainability issues that obtained the Benefit Corporation recognition in 2021».

It is present in over 55 countries, with 25 single-brand stores, multi-brand stores and collaborations with 150 architects and interior designers from all over the world. Forel’s investment and management, the group underlines, «will allow Visionnaire to accelerate its international expansion, working in close collaboration with the founding family to support the company’s next phase of growth. The objective will be market expansion in major global cities, the development of residential projects, the strengthening of brand awareness and customer engagement strategies.”
